Today we've released a new version of Dynamicweb 8 Community Technology Preview (CTP) for you to download and start playing around with.

Since April we have had CTP's for download in our download section on http://developer.dynamicweb-cms.com/ - today we've released a build wich is more or less feature complete.

We would love you to download and test it!

There are tings still not in the build on the API:

• The merge of Dynamicweb.Template and Dynamicweb.Templatev2.Template into Dynamicweb.Rendering.Template is not in here.
• Refactored versions of Dynamicweb.Base and Dynamicweb.Database is also not in this CTP - will be in the next upgrade.

Get your feedback into the product

We would really appreciate if you download, install and play around with the CTP - test upgrade solutions, taking a look at the API or simply test a new installation. We want your feedback and ideas so we can put it into the final version.

A new forum have been created for discussions, feedback and ideas for the final release - find it here: http://developer.dynamicweb-cms.com/forum/beta.aspx.

We plan on releasing a Beta 1 around November 1. We are also looking for partners and solutions that wants to participate in beta testing by going live with their website. Dynamicweb.dk will of course also go live on Dynamicweb 8 pretty soon. http://developer.dynamicweb-cms.com/ and this blog already runs on Dynamicweb 8.
