The new developer community
04 October 2011
In May we introduced this new developer community on developer.dynamicweb-cms.com. With a brand new forum with new requested features, easier overview of documentation, downloads and releases.
So what's next?
We do not consider the job done by that - we know there are still a lot of whishes from you guys and that is what we will do next.As you might know we have teamed up with Imar Spaanjaars from the Netherlands to be our new community editor. He has been working with Dynamicweb since 2006 as part of Dynamicweb NL and later in his own company http://devierkoeden.nl/ doing consulting tasks. He has great experience in writing for developers (as author) and doing developer community work as a MVP.
He will be in charge of taking the content of this site further - we are currently working on a long list of prioritized things and will get on with it during this fall. More information will follow.
Focus will be a lot on content - structure and lots of new articles, samples and documentation. But also forum and community features as the forum should be updated today with new features.
You're saying?
We want you to be happy about this site - as a developer that works with Dynamicweb on a daily basis there are a lot of things that could be better and easier so you can spend time on awesome implementations instead of browsing this website. So we want to have the things you need and we want you to be able to find it.So give us ass-kicks, ideas and feedback if you have any. Thanks!
